Riyadh Marathon 2024

Supported by the Ministry of Sport, Quality of Life Program, and the Saudi Arabian Athletic Federation, the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) hosted the Riyadh Marathon.
With various race distances available, including the Full Marathon (42,195 km) and Half Marathon (21,0975 km), more than 15,000 individuals of all fitness levels participated regardless of their age and athletic abilities. The marathon village was buzzing with activity, providing a vibrant atmosphere for participants and spectators alike.

Execution Highlights

Organized by the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) with support from the Ministry of Sport, the Quality of Life Program, and the Saudi Arabian Athletic Federation, the Riyadh Marathon 2024 welcomed over 15,000 participants of all ages and abilities. Featuring multiple race categories including full and half marathons, the event transformed the city into a celebration of endurance and community spirit. The marathon village offered entertainment, wellness activities, and an energetic atmosphere for runners and spectators alike.

Impact

The marathon strengthened Saudi Arabia’s nationwide movement toward health and wellness, engaging citizens in an inclusive and inspiring experience. It advanced Vision 2030’s active lifestyle goals and positioned Riyadh as a regional leader in mass-participation sporting events.
